You should spend the next two lessons using SketchUp to design your own chair. You could use the chair in the video as a starting point but should try make your chair original or unique.
The more advanced tools you use, such as the Make Component and Follow Me tools, will allow you to add more detail to your design.

Level 3 - You have created a basic chair design with little or no evidence of detail or originality.
Level 4 - You have created a basic chair design including some details. The originality of your chair is lacking.
Level 5 - You have created a detailed chair using the Follow Me tool. The chair shows some originality.
Level 6 - You have created an original, detailed chair using the Follow Me and Make Component tools.
Level 7 - You have created an original, very detailed chair using the Follow Me and Make Component tools. The chair is also rendered.
